Cutting your Trade Show Exhibit Cost

Posted by Carl on Nov 18, 2008 in Good Going

Many trade show exhibitors are searching out various ways of cutting their exhibit cost. They feel that they have to attend the trade show after they are very lucrative to most exhibitors. Some companies attend Conventions to show their new product and or market their company service. It’s still the best way to get your product or service in front of a large crown of potential buyers. The drawback is that trade shows are very costly. In that said I would like to point out some cost cutting ideas.

1- In choosing your booth location never get more real estate that you can handle, some exhibitors get the same to give the impression that they are a larger company than what they are. Only purchase booth space that you feel would demonstrate your product or service. If your booth space is large remember you have to fill that area with enough exhibit components more restate means more exhibit components and more components mean more cost on shipping and drayage.

2- When designing or choosing a design for your trade show booth location choose a design that reflects your company images…this is very important, first impressions are lasting. In an effort to keep your budget down make sure that your booth is built with the lightest material needed to properly display your product or image. A great deal of exhibitors are now using stretched fabric structures, light weight panel systems or aluminum frame , the reason for this is to keep their drayage cost down. Drayage: is the cost that is charged by the convention contactor to move your booth properties in and out of the convention hall. Many exhibitors forget to budget for this, make sure to budget for this, some conventions drayage cost are extremely high.

3- Another advantage of having your trade show booth well built out of light weight material is the ease of setting up. This cost can also be very high depending on the convention in which you attend , the faster your booth get set up the lower your overall cost , If one man can handle a component instead of two or three surely you would cut your exhibit set up cost.

Spend a Summer Season Fruit Picking in Britian

Posted by Carl on Nov 18, 2008 in Good Going

Spending a summer season fruit picking is hard but satisfying work. As many European studies have found over this and the previous summers Broadwater farm is a great place to earn some money and use as a base to explore the UK.

Broadwater Farm in England is a traditional UK Fruit Farm, set in the beautiful Kent countryside. The farm produces crops of Bramley and Gala apples, pears, cherries and plums. This top quality fruit is supplied to retailers throughout the UK. During the summer months (June, July, August, September and October) students arrive from many European countries to spend their summer holiday fruit picking and experience living and working in the UK.

Accommodation is provided in well-appointed mobile homes. For evening entertainment there is a television lounge and a broadband internet connection. The farm is one hour by train from London and 10 minutes’ walk from the town of West Malling for supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. Nightclubs and shopping in Maidstone are a short train or bus journey away.

Broadwater Farm has invested in a fruit picking train – a system which has proved popular with the farmers and workers, following a trial in 2007. To attract students to farm work a website has been set up which enables potential applicants to see what apple picking in the UK is all about. Photos of current and previous harvesters, their accommodation and the farm itself illustrate the opportunities far more clearly than words.

Their website does more than attract students to the summer farm work. It provides useful checklists of things to do before leaving home and on arrival at the farm in the UK. After a summer of fruit picking and apple harvesting they can reminisce over photos of their colleagues and read up-to-date news of activity on the Farm.

Some Blue Whale Facts

Posted by Carl on Nov 18, 2008 in Good Going

One of the most prolifict of all blue whale facts is the fact that the blue whale is indeed the biggest whale of all the whale species.

In fact, it is often a belief among many scholars and such that the blue whale is probably the largest animal to have ever lived. That alone makes these beautiful creatures extremely special and worth the effort to keep around.

These large ocean living mammals can grow to be over one hundred and ten feet in length and weigh in around two hundred tons. That’s a huge mass of weight and energy which explains why they also eat a massive amount of food.

Blue whales mostly feast on krill. Krill is a small ocean crustacean and it is not uncommon for a single whale to eat up to four million krill in one single day.

Other things they may take a liking to eating are small fish and also a squid on occasion.

There was once a time when the Antarctic alone was home to over two hundred thousand blue whales, however, due to over hunting (whaling) their numbers have dwindled to around seven thousand around the world.

The small number that remain live in approximately five different groups.

Thanks to an International community that took interest in the possible extinction of the blue whale in the mid nineteen sixties, their numbers are on the rise and although they are clear not completely safe yet, they are getting out of the woods of becoming extinct.

If you want to learn more about blue whales or whales in general, head on over to Whale Facts.

Internet Business Training Programs

Posted by Carl on Nov 18, 2008 in Good Going

What is an internet business training program? It is a set of guides and examples to train the new prospect in the field of internet marketing. A “how to” for the beginner or for the season internet marketer in order to accomplish a proven system that will set up the trainee to become a more professional entrepreneur. These programs usually have services and products to install into you business as well as to promote them to others.

Let’s face it if you want to succeed in an online business you will have to develop a business strategy that will endure good times as well as bad times. Of course if your goal is to make a couple of hundred bucks from time to time then you don’t need an internet business plan to follow but if you want to have a full time income from your earnings then you should look into an internet business training program.

A good training program will offer you a long term plan with day to day strategies that will keep you on a steady path to becoming a professional internet marketer with many different income streams. I guess the key to your success will be on how you handle the diversity of your income plans so if one form of income becomes dried up then you will have other income streams to cover your losses and you will already be in the process of developing new types of income for future growth. The internet waits for no one so you must be flexible in your business strategies.

There are many plans available for the right price but not all are up to date and many will cost you a small fortune. When you are looking into joining a internet business training program be sure to do some background research on that program. I have seen many programs being over saturated with new beginners and so the program tends to put the new prospect into a losing situation. Don’t let the hype influence you! Remember when all is said and done you will be the better if you accomplish what you set out to do, that is, making an income! If you are not making more then what you are paying to keep the program running in a couple of months then either you or the program is not working and it is time for a change.

There is much to discuss on this subject and my hope is that I have help you to be a little more discerning when choosing a internet business training program. If you want to learn more on this subject and have a look at a great program that I have put together then by all means click this link, beginabusinessonline.com Listen to the video that my good friend Norb has made and sign up for the free email course that will give you details on how to run a successful business.
