CNN recently released a news story that informed the public that by the year 2010, 3D television should be not just in the theaters but in homes across the nation as well. Two popular television brands recently provided a demonstration of the televisions that they have designed to broadcast television in 3D. The companies were Sony as well as Panasonic. These are not the only brands expected to release this technologically advanced system, though. JVC as well as Mitsubishi are also in the developmental stages on their 3D television set. Here, I will provide the top 3 tips for preparing for the future release of 3D television.
1. First, you will need to start saving a little cash. In order to enjoy 3D television, you will need to purchase an actual television set that is designed to broadcast 3D images. At this point in time, there are no releases regarding integrating 3D channels on standard televisions. Due to the fact that at home 3D TV will be a “new” form of technology, it is likely that the television sets will be relatively expensive.
2. In addition to incorporating a new television set into the home, you will also need to purchase 3D glasses. While the TV manufacturers may start to sell these along with the sets, it is quite likely that the “cheap” models will work. The idea is to get stocked up now prior to the actual release of the television sets. If you wait, you may discover that the demand for these glasses results in price increases.
3. You may want to designate an area in the home, apart from the standard television set that you have, where you and your family can enjoy the 3D television once it is released. Due to the fact that this will be a new technology, it is important that you avoid going out and totally replacing your standard television at this point.
3D television will be an exciting addition to the many choices in entertainment that we have today. However, it is best to prepare for the integration of this technology. By following the top 3 ti

Over the past decade, the old ideas of how baby bedding should look have been thrown out of the window and replaced by unique and beautiful new designs. Together instilling a unique and impressive nursery room, especially worthy of recognition is this bold new approach to the use of color and pattern.
Pink and brown crib bedding is an example of this new wave of designs that exists for nursery bedding. One of the most favored color combination there are many styles and patterns available such as patchwork cloth designs and shapes/flowers as well as endearing themed bedding. No wonder that those parents who decide on pink and brown nursery bedding wind up being delighted at the number of choices that are available to them.
A whole color palette of each is represented and available should one choose pink and brown bedding. The freshest colors in baby’s bedding go from pale pink to deep fuchsia, while the coordinating browns vary from a light sand to dark chestnut. Constant consideration should be given to the craftsmanship of the linens no matter what colors you decide upon while shopping for durable unique baby bedding sets.
As soft and snuggly as they may look, overly puffy blankets and bumpers can be hazardous to babies, who can potentially suffocate in an overly thick blanket or in an overly soft bumper. As unscrupulous manufacturers have been known to treat linens with dangerous chemicals, it is also important that parents always be wary of the bedding’s contents.
If you have made the decision to go with pink and brown bedding in your nursery, you may then buy individual items and coordinate them with your crib bedding. Often parents are overwhelmed by the choice and expense of decorating a nursery and too quickly choose a simple pink or brown crib set. To save money, parents can choose to purchase multi-item crib sets. This option also allows for a better fitting, and helps them to completely decorate their nurseries without all the hassle that’s usually associated with this task.
While shopping for a bedding set in pink and brown colors one is confronted with an overwhelming number of choices available for purchase. When people consider the colors pink and brown they usually associate them with a girls room. However, some designers are able to use these colors in clever new ways to look great for either sex.

How Sweet is it?
To answer that question; it isn’t sweet at all. This diet helps you to cut down on the sugars so that you can lose the fat!! Plain and simple. I mean they do go pretty over board in the description (my opinion of course) by saying that sugars are toxic and they wreak havoc. This may very well be the truth, but why scare the sugar out of everyone by saying it like that? This doctor explains why sugars are bad and the reason why this diet may be the right one for you.
It doesn’t stop there. Sugar is not the only thing that we should cut down on. There is cholesterol as well. The diet was released in 1998, so that means that it has been out for awhile. With this diet come benefits such as preventing diseases like diabetes and it is also made to give you energy and balanced wellness for the entire body.
Okay So What Can I Eat?
First of all you CANNOT eat foods that contain refined sugars and then there are certain fruits and vegetables as well. You will be even more surprised at the big no nos that you have to steer from as well. There is a lengthy list of things that you will definitely want to stay away from. Potatoes are a big no no for sure. Then there are all foods containing refined sugar, corn, white rice, beets, carrots, molasses, corn syrup, honey, cokes and even beer. Wow, did you ever imagine that list? You wouldn’t think that all of these actually had sugars. Keep in mind as well; if you are a dieter then you need to reconsider the diet or slim down on exercising while on the Sugar Busters diet.
You CAN eat foods that are high in fiber. There are vegetables that fit into this category. You are allowed to eat stone-ground whole grains, trimmed and lean meats. Then of course there are fish and fruits that you are able to eat as well. Do not fry but rather bake or broil your foods. If you must consume alcohol, make sure that it is a red wine. If for some reason you would prefer to fry your dinner while on the diet, you may do so with either canola or olive oil. You may eat nuts and fruits for snacks as well. You can eat poultry, Canadian bacon and then there is lean beef and pork as well. If you like venison, you can eat that as well. For those of you who don’t know what venison is, it is deer meat.
There are several types of beans that you can eat as well while on the Sugar Busters Diet. Not to mention the many fruits and vegetables as well. You may have dairy products and whole grains as well. For all of you chocolate lovers out there, there is also the advantage of eating dark chocolate. So yay you do get to eat something sweet. There is a total of about 1200 calories that you are allowed to consume in a day. Yes you must keep track as well. There are many downfalls as well. For instance you may notice weakness and fatigue. There is even a chance of liver damage and irritability as well.
Like With Most Diets there are the Disadvantages.
For one you must watch closely to what you are consuming. You have to count calories amongst the things that you already do on a regular basis. Then there is the investment that will need to be made in the foods that you choose to eat. There are the foods that must be avoided with the diet and then there are the foods that are okay to eat as well. If it is sugars like you like, this diet may be the one thing that you need before your health really takes a nose dive. Consider this diet if you eat a lot of sugar or even at risk for diabetes.
There are the advantages and the disadvantages, like with any other diet. Through educating yourself with the diet and actually trying it (knowing it will be to your advantage) before you can see and feel the results. This is like all diets; you need to actually participate in it in order to see the full advantage that you can have with the diet. You won’t bear results right away but they come when you are diligent to your diet and you care about your health.

In a study of 31 college students, about half listen to music on portable music players, like iPods, at levels that can, over longer periods of time, cause permanent hearing loss, say researchers from the University of Southern Mississippi. A teenager can have his own personal concert, as loud and as long as he likes. Parents might wonder if the volume levels their teen is listening to could cause hearing damage. It is possible, say researchers from the University of Southern Mississippi study.
The study sample was small and the lab setting was not necessarily reflective of choices people would make in real life, so more research would be needed to confirm the findings. Even so, the results add to a growing body of research that indicates the potential hazards of these prolific devices.
Scientists have known for years that volumes over 85 decibels (dB), about the sound of a hair dryer, can cause significant hearing loss if people listen in for many hours over many years.
The United States Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) has set standards for how long employees can listen to certain sounds, depending on intensity. For instance, people should only listen to 100 dB for two hours, and 115 dB for 15 minutes or less, according to OSHA. On the decibel scale, an increase of 10, say, from 100 to 110, means that a sound is 10 times more intense.
The University of Southern Mississippi researchers say the problem is two fold, as iPods not only can reach hazardous volumes of around 130 dBs, but their personal nature makes it almost impossible for authority figures to determine if someone is listening at levels that could damage hearing.
To determine the volume levels these college teens were listening to, researchers studied students who had owned personal music players for no more than three years. The students listened to Summer of 69 by Bryan Adams at their preferred sound level as the researchers measured the intensity at exactly the same spot in the song.
For precise measurements, researchers used equipment that normally measures the output of hearing aids, a soft plastic tube that goes into the ear canal and is attached to a microphone. The device measures noise levels at the subjects eardrum and the data is analyzed by a computer.
The majority of the participants, 55 percent, listened at very loud levels, or more than 85 dB. About 26 percent listened at levels between 70 dB and 85 dB, and 19 percent preferred volumes less than 70 dB.
The college students tend to want to set volume levels that are pretty high. And if they continue to listen at levels above 85 dB for many years, it can gradually cause significant and permanent hearing loss.
Another concern, while portable music players use to operate on AA batteries that usually run down after several hours, teenagers today can listen to their iPods for up to 20 hours without recharging them, an audiologist and doctoral candidate at the University of Colorado at Boulder, said.
While none of the students in the study showed signs of significant hearing loss, researchers believe that the participants may not have owned personal music players long enough to experience damage. The team plans to do further studies to look at these effects over time.
People who have had music players for longer periods of time in our future study, that have now had them for five or six years, could produce completely different data.
People are starting to listen to iPods and such at younger ages. So subjects that are younger will have a longer amount of years that they have been listening to these devices and could cause further damage.
Researchers would like to see more action taken to make listeners of portable music players more aware of the risks to their hearing. Manufacturers could test their devices and mark volume settings with the decibel level. This allows the person themselves to monitor, and then someone else, a teacher or a parent, could look at the device and see the volume control setting.
