January is actually “Get Organized” or “GO” Month for the National Association of Professional Organizers. Perfectly synchronized to be in line with our client’s goals for the new year of getting more what? Organized of course! How about you, is getting organized at the top of your new year’s resolutions? Let me help you make your goals a reality this year through some careful, yet easy planning.
1. Keep it simple. Choose just one area of your home that you would love to see organized, not the whole house. Baby steps here.
2. When thinking about where to start, consider what is stressing you out the most every time you walk on by.
3. Write down your goal and the reason for reaching your goal, this makes it more concrete. “I will declutter the dining room table so we can enjoy family meals together.” This will keep you motivated to reach your goal.
4. Write down a date on the calendar to work on your project. No “someday” here, you’re gonna have a plan and do it now!
5. If you need support or a helping hand, start recruiting before the upcoming date on your calendar.
6. If you need any supplies, like garbage bags or boxes, this is the time to start gathering what you need for your big day.
7. Have a plan for a reward for a job well done after you declutter-a snack, dinner out on the town, yummy chocolate, etc.
8. Jump on in on “project day” and get ‘er done!
Meet your goals this year a step at a time and make home organization your reality!

One of the most powerful tools for affiliate marketing content creators and article writers has been, and will continue to be, Squidoo. It’s a combination of a web 2.0 site, social network and a loose article site. It has many different features and is very important to know how to properly use and promote your Squidoo pages to get the best posssible effect.
Here are some basics. Squidoo pages are called lenses, main sections of each page can be added through modules and there are many different types of modules that you can add. Squidoo lenses rank extremely well in the search engines and some claim that this is their best feature.
First, let us mention some things that are a big no-no on Squidoo. There is zero tolerance for spam. Certain topics are off limits and you would waste your time building a lens, because it won’t be published and featured on Squidoo.
Also, lenses that are of poor quality for a long time may end up being deleted so watch out and keep the quality high.
You need to give out real, quality content that is of use and interest to readers. Quality is the best policy, as people would say. Spammy lenses with trashy content are not tolerated on Squidoo. If you plan on making a real solid income from Squidoo, you need to make sure that your articles and content are engaging and helpful.
One of the best tips that I can give you about Squidoo is to use a lot of videos. Videos are easier to absorb and are more interactive. I have found on my own lenses that video keeps the visitors longer and makes more money.
Be sure to ping, tweet and bookmark each lens for maximum effect. The influx of visitors will boost your Squidoo ranking and help you get more comments and interaction from other members.
Follow the rules, play nice with others and you should do just fine with Squidoo. It really is a treasure for those who know how to use it.
Joshua Bardhashian uses Squidoo to make money online and is very successful at it. Watch his zombie books and paintball pants sites to see how he creates content.

Let me tell you a little bit about a sport unlike any other. Let me tell you about a sport that is in a category all by itself. Let me tell you about a sport with unappreciated challenges. Let me tell you why it’s not for sissies.
I’d like to talk a little about the sport of triathlon, and why it is the best. First it is made up of three sports in one. To be the best it isn’t good enough to be just a good runner, or a good, cyclist, or a good swimmer. In fact good in any of these categories is simply not good enough for anything but second place, and second in my opinion is just the first looser.
In most triathlons the order is as follows swim, bike, run. I would imagine that you swim first because race organizers and directors wouldn’t want you to drown from fatigue if it were in any other order. However, I have seen it in different order before.
There are a few different types of triathlon. Let me begin with the sprint distance. This is generally about a 300 to 500 meter swim, followed by a 13 to 18 mile bike ride, wrapped up with about a 5k run. Next is the Olympic international distance triathlon. This is a bit longer and tougher. It starts with a mile swim, not a walk in the park some people can’t even make it passed the swim. Then you transition to a 25 to 30 mile bike ride. Don’t misunderstand though; this is no casual ride through your neighborhood. Competitive speeds for top level athletes average 20 plus miles per hour. Then from the bike you make your way to the 10k run to the finish. Last and certainly not least is the grueling ironman. First you begin with an unparalleled swim of 2.4 miles. Then if you’re still standing upright make your way over to the 112 mile bike portion, which is just as long as some of the Tour De France stages, need I say more. Cap this bad boy off with a marathon distance run of 26 miles 385 yards and you’ve done it.
So, what do you think are you up for the challenge?

Although many of the factors affecting self confidence are beyond our control, it is not a valid reason for you to give up, there are so many self confidence techniques out there you just need to find the ones that work for you. Recalling your past successes, unique skills, loving relationships, and positive momentum are good confidence boosting. You will be amazed at how much you have going for you and it will motivate you to take that next step towards a better you.
Self confidence is all about how you look and feel about yourself and not allowing what other people think of you to affect you; you should only care about what you think of yourself. Self confidence really helps with many different aspects of your life. A lot of the times, the lack of self confidence is a feeling of not having enough of something, whether it’s emotional validation, good luck, money, love etc.
Learn to do anything to reach that goal and you will see how that inner feeling of self confidence comes to you. Learning how to live in the wilderness of life will build confidence in other areas of your life too. What I am trying to get at here is being out in the world will help build self confidence, shying away from the world will just deepen the despair.
Building of self confidence is different from person to person. I find exercise one of the best ways to clear the mind and stop the over thinking that causes lack of confidences. Having the discipline to work out not only makes you feel better, it creates positive momentum that you can build on the rest of the day. Doing exercise every day helps to build a better self-view of yourself and in turn will boost your confidences.
The first step towards good self confidences is to start accepting yourself for who you are and not to worry about what others think of you. Self confidence and self esteem are very closely linked, that is why a large amount of the time our confidence is based on our emotions and how we feel about ourselves rather than how confident we are. Building your self-esteem and self confidence is the single most important part of your entire well-being.
If you learn anything from this article please let it be this. Self confidence is about being yourself; you should not compare yourself to anyone else. You alone determine how you live your life not someone else’s view of you. Stop the over thinking and start the doing today, trust me my friend that confidence is closer than you think.

Sony has gone Yahoo “widget”- happy with its TV lineup for 2009, including the Internet- enabled doodads into two of the series publicised at CES.
Purported as “Internet applications that produce real- time information” from the media release, widgets “expand and customize the TV experience with the addition of on- screen programs that provide such real- time information as weather reports, stock ticker updates, financial news, Yahoo! Video, Flickr images, and additional content. ”
The three- model “Z- series, ” which consists of the 40-inch Sony KDL- 40Z5100, the 46-inch KDL- 46Z5100, additionally, the 52-inch Sony KDL-52Z5100, will be offered in the spring for yet- to- be- determined prices. It features close to identical features to the company’s higher- end XBR-9 series, even though styling and price will vary.
According to Sony, the XBR models also highlight a wider color gamut backlight, but we doubt the improvement will be apparent to most viewers. This series include the 52-inch Sony KDL-52XBR9, 46-inch KDL46XBR9 along with the 40-inch KDL40XBR9. These three sizes in the XBR9 series share identical specifications, and we expect them to show much the same display quality except for the 32-inch KDL32XBR9, which has a lower contrast ratio and refresh rate, among other discrepancies.
All Z- series models include a fluorescent backlight and 240Hz refresh rates. One significant addition to Sony TVs this year is an Internet- powered TV Guide Onscreen. It should be an improvement over standard TV Guide. Interactive includes besides widgets include compatibility with the company’s Bravia Internet Video Link and upgraded DLNA capability over the 2008 models- – now the Sonys can stream video and music from networked PCs, just like Samsungs and Pioneers. Additional Features common to the line include four HDMI inputs, a PC input, and an upgraded XMB- design interface.
On the other hand, the KDL- V5100 is Sony’s least expensive series of 2009 HDTVs to add 120Hz processing, and it is deficient in the interactive extras and design complexities of its step- up brethren. It does include virtually all of the picture- associated controls on those designs, nevertheless, and its key image quality is just as good. Of course you’ll still pay premium compared to bargain brands, however the solid performance and well- rounded, very important features of the V5100 series make it one of Sony’s most riveting values. This series comprise the 55-inch Sony KDL55V5100, 52- inch KDL-52V5100, 40- inch KDL-40V5100 and also the 46- inch KDL-46V5100.
